*EDIT - I have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers from my Wireless Card, restarted the machine and can now see the list of Wireless networks however when I click to connect it tries for about 5 minutes and then just stops. My next step will be to cart my lumpy machine downstairs an plug in by Ethernet but I really don't want to have to do that. If anyone can help it would be appreciated or any suggestions that I have not yet tried? I can see a lot of people are having WiFi issues but no one seems to have my exact issue. I also cannot see my Nvidia graphics card in Device manager. I use a 42" LG HDTV but there is no option to use its speakers anymore, so no sound and the resolution is set at something close to 1024 x 768Īnd I cannot change it. It would also appear on this 3rd attempt that my Graphics Card and TV is no longer being recognised correctly. but it just says it cannot find that registry key. I have clicked on "Connect to the Internet" under the Network and Internet Page and it says "Windows did not detect any networking hardware" but under Device manager my Wireless Adapter (Netgear WNDA3100v3 N600) is showing under Network adapters as working I also cannot click "Change adapter settings", "Set up a new connection or network" or troubleshoot problems" nothing happens however "Change Advanced sharing settings" works fine. In the Network and Sharing Center it just says "Unknown - The service to detect this status is disabled" and there is an option for more information, when pressed though nothing happens. I have tried Troubleshooting in W10 both "Internet Connections" and "Network Adapter" but it couldn't find any problems. Searching the forums I saw that having an existing but unsupported Security software installed during the upgrade (my case Avast) causes issues and so I went back to 7 Pro, uninstalled Avast and tried again but still no luck.

On each attempt, the main issue I have is that after successfully installing and booting to desktop I can see no Wireless networks to connect to but my Wireless Adaptor is I am currently on my 3rd attempt to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 7 Pro.
